The Environmental Review Tribunal Hearing into the White Pines wind project that was scheduled for tomorrow in Wellington has been cancelled.
The decision was made this morning by the ERT.
In a media release, the Alliance to Protect Prince Edward County says it was late last Friday when its counsel received the reply submissions from the Approval Holder and the Director on the White Pines appeal.
The release goes on to say, “On the same date our counsel also received the written decisions of the Tribunal on previous motions raised during the course of the hearing.”
During a telephone conference call this morning the ERT agreed to the consented solution of the parties to allow APPEC and Mr. Hirsch until Friday to submit replies thus cancelling tomorrow’s hearing.
The ERT’s decision is scheduled to be released on Friday February 19.
