A young man is in hospital with second degree burns after an explosion in an ice-hut on Crowe Lake west of Marmora Monday evening.
Hastings-Quinte Emergency Services Acting Director John O’Donnell explains what happened.
The man whose name is not being released was then transported to Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
Unconfirmed reports indicate he was taken to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital for treatment.
