A flood warning has been issued for a portion of the Trent River.
Lower Trent Conservation has announced the warning for the stretch between dam six and seven, from Frankford to Glen Ross.
Officials say the water has been rising over the past few days and an ice jam has formed near the Danger Narrows.
The warning heeds particular caution to residents on Cooke Armstrong Road, where frazil ice could cause rapid and unpredictable rising.
The flood watch stretching from Trenton to Hastings remains in effect
