It appears many members in downtown Belleville want to see a new speed limit on Front Street.
At Monday’s Mayor’s Implementation Team meeting, staff discussed concern about the speed on the road which stretches from Station Street to Dundas.
Director of Engineering Rod Bovay says they are looking at a speed reduction from 50 km/h to 30 km/h.
A report is going to come to council before anything will be approved or implemented.
