A major visit over the weekend was a huge success for Belleville’s first ever world championship.
In May, Belleville is hosting the 2016 World Under 19 Women’s Floorball Championships.
International Floorball Federation Competition Coordinator Sarah Mitchell visited the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, toured hotels, committee offices and offered support to the Local Organizing Committee.
Mitchell says the grass roots movement is noticeable.
Mitchell says in the history of the tournament, Belleville has some of the most beautiful and large facilities to host the tournament.
