The citizens advocacy group OurTMH hopes to become a registered charity.
At Monday’s Quinte West council meeting, OurTMH will ask that council act as
a go between so it can apply for 10 thousand dollars from the Kay Stafford Memorial Fund
to pay for some administration costs and apply to be a registered charity.
The Kay Stafford Fund is overseen by the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and provides
grants to various community organizations on a yearly basis.
Meanwhile, OurTMH will also ask that council approve the two weeks, running January 25th through February 8th as OurTMH weeks in Quinte West.
Council meets Monday at 6:30 at city hall.
