A charitable Quinte area resident is driving home in style today after winning the Toyota Wishmaker contest last month.
Twenty-nine-year-old Ryan Kelly picked up his new Carolla from Belleville Toyota today after being one of 10 winners chosen from thousands of entrants from across the province.
Kelly tells Quinte News it’s been a restless few weeks since finding out he was a winner live on Breakfast Television in Toronto.
He says while he doesn’t do all of his various charity work for the recognition it’s always nice to be rewarded.
Kelly works at Belleville’s Triangle Fluid Control and says the car will make traveling across the province much easier.
He says his charitable efforts have been ongoing since he was a young kid when his grandmother inspired him to help out others as much as possible.
