It was a record year for the Quinte Region as far as the average price of a home goes.
The Quinte and District Association of Realtors says the average price for a home in the area was $253,229, the highest ever.
QDAR President Jamie Troke says that’s in line with what’s happening across the province as well.
Dollar sales for all property types in the month of December were up almost 12% compared to 2014 and overall property sales are up 8%, from 174 units in 2014, to 188 last year.
As the calendar turns, QDAR also gets set to welcome a new president, as Cathy Polan takes over the role this year
