Quinte West council is set to make more property available for new industry and other business.
At its meeting Monday evening, Quinte West council will rubber stamp a recommendation to buy a parcel
of land at Dufferin Avenue and Carrying Place Road.
The property is basically scrub land located behind the former Quaker Oats plant on Dufferin.
The price tag for the land is 250 thousand dollars.
Quinte West council meets at 6:30 at city hall Monday.
