An Amherstview man is facing a slew of charges after OPP responded to a domestic incident Thursday night.
Crews were called around 10:15 p.m after a victim contacted officers about an alleged assault.
A suspect is accused of assaulting the woman, turning the power off in the home, and breaking her cell phone.
The 28-year-old suspect, whose name cannot be released to protect the victim, has been charged with domestic assault, possession of a controlled substance for trafficking and mischief.
Police discovered over three ounces of marijuana at the property.
