Two men have been arrested by Centre Hastings OPP in connection with a human trafficking investigation.
Police say the investigation was launched back in September after incidents in Centre Hastings, Belleville, and Kingston.
Earlier this week, 29-year-old Matthew Cole of Belleville and 28-year-old Travis Althouse of Cordova, north of Marmora, were taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit human trafficking, human trafficking of a person under 18, and procurement.
Cole was released with a promise to appear on February 25, while Althouse was held in custody.
