The goaltender of the number one Junior “A” hockey team in Canada has been rewarded.
Daniel Urbani of the Trenton Golden Hawks has received a full scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo New York next season. Urbani will play for the Division one Golden Griffins.
Urbani leads the OJHL with with a 1.56 goals against average and is second with a .936 save percentage in 26 games.
The Golden Hawks are hosting the North-East Showcase at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens this weekend.
