A new task force looking at healthcare in the Quinte West and Brighton with a focus on
Trenton Memorial Hospital is close to starting its work.
The Southeast Local Health Integration Network, which funds healthcare in this
part of the province, has announced the general makeup of what will be known as
the Trenton Memorial Hospital Implementation Task Force.
The committee will be chaired by a representative from the LHIN, and include one representative from several health related organizations.
They are Quinte Health Care, Community Care Access Centre, Belleville/Quinte West Community Health Centre, the Brighton/Quinte West Family Health Team, Victorian Order of Nurses, Addictions and Mental Health Services, and a person from the Community.
The committee will begin meetings in the near future.
