The OPP detachment commander in Quinte West is calling it a career.
Inspector Mike Reynolds has announced he will retire May 31st, ending a 35 year career in policing.
Reynolds says he will treasure his time in the area.
Reynolds also worked as detachment commander in Haliburton, with stops also in Kawartha, Wasaga Beach and Toronto.
