We are expecting to finally know the site of the new casino in Belleville before months end.
Mayor Taso Christopher says they will be visiting with Great Canadian Gaming in the city January 19, when a draft document will be handed to the city for a site request.
It will then move onto approval for city council at the January 25 meeting.
It is expected the site will be on the north side of Bell Boulevard West, however nothing has been confirmed by the city or Great Canadian Gaming.
