Some local parents are not happy with recent changes to policy, allowing students with lice to stay in the classroom.
A Belleville parent says both her sons have had lice and she says it is a nightmare.
Kristy Sinclair says she worried it will spread.
Sinclair says if a student has an illness they are told to stay home, but questions why it is not the same for lice.
Medical Officer of Health Doctor Richard Schabas says lice is most often spread through sharing combs or hats.
