Belleville council has approved the purchase of three parcels of land to get set for the extension of Haig Road, a project that could be done in the next two or three years.
Council approved buying property from the First Pentacostal Church of Greater Belleville for 8 thousand 100 dollars, Belleville East End Developments for 68 thousand , and a numbered Ontario company for 6 thousand 800 dollars.
All of the properties are along Station Street near Haig Road, as Station Street will be re-aligned as part of the extension of Haig Road.
