The Trenton Goldenhawks have announced a press conference for Friday morning.
It is taking place at the Trent Port Marina beginning at 11:00 a.m, however the topic has not been released to this point.
The team has attracted some big events so far this season, with an international exhibition game between Team Canada West and Russia, ahead of the World Junior A challenge, along with the Northeast Showcase coming up later this month.
Rumours around the league were that the team was interested in hosting the Ontario Championships, also known as the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
