Build Belleville was busy in 2015, but 2016 is taking it up a notch.
Well over $50 million will be spent on infrastructure work over the next 12 months.
The largest job will be the bridge crossing of the CP tracks, which will run close to $21 million.
The foundation has been laid already and will likely be complete for Christmas time.
More work on the Northeast Industrial park, costing $5 million, more solar projects on city owned buildings and the Mineral Road and Maitland Drive reconstruction and rehabilitation of Bronk Road will also happen in 2016.
The cost of Phase 2 of the downtown is unknown, with tenders going out later this month.
