A Belleville native has received a big honour from a prominent rugby source.
Website American Rugby News has named Cindy Nelles as the Breakthrough Player of the Year.
The 22 year old St Theresa grad has represented Canada, even as captain, along with leading McMaster University to the national championship, where she was also MVP.
She was also the C.I.S player of the year.
