Belleville police are seeking the public’s assistance with a case in where three men were assaulted on New Year’s Day.
Officers were called to a Cannifton Road residence during the early morning hours on January 1, where they say they found three men suffering from injuries including knife wounds.
All three men required treatment at Belleville General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries and two were arrested at the scene
Twenty-two-year-old Mitchell Empey of Kingston is charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of assault. Jacob McCardle of Belleville is charged with one count of assault.
Both men were released from custody with numerous conditions and will appear in Belleville Court in mid-February.
