Stock markets around the world have been going down big time today as a result of weak economic data out of China and tension in the middle east.
The Loonie has been dipping again as well.
Meanwhile, the CEO of the Quinte Economic Development Commission, Chris King, says the lower dollar means good and bad news for the local economy.
On another note, Chris King says the Commission, along with local communities, is working with several
companies interested in opening in this region, as well as with existing businesses looking to expand.
King is cautiously optimistic that positive announcements will be made within the next few months.
