The goal is higher than ever for the 2016 CFB Trenton Pond Hockey Classic.
Monday morning in Batawa, dignitaries, sponsors and officials with the military were on hand to kick off this years festivities.
The goal is 32 teams for the tournament and 180 guests for the fundraising dinner.
Organizer Jeffrey Moorhouse says they have selected the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and Wounded Warrior Canada as the two beneficiaries for the funds.
Dave Macdonald says they are thrilled to join with CFB Trenton.
This is the fifth year for the tournament and this years sponsors include Scotiabank, Scotia McLeod, Mix 97, Rock 107 and CJBQ.
