The new year means the completion of a year-long paramedicine pilot project by Hastings-Quinte emergency services.
Hastings County Warden Rick Phillips says the county also has plans for some road projects.
Warden Phillips says the county is considering whether or not it should form a committee to look at the costing for a county-wide police service.
That decision will come early in 2016.
