The Christmas break this year for students and staff at the Kawartha-Pine Ridge School Board won’t start on a Saturday and end on a Sunday, two weeks later. Trustees voted to begin the holidays on Thursday, December 23rd, and have students return to class on Thursday January sixth. The change reduces the number of days off from 16 to 14. The modified dates were based on comments received to an online survey on the board’s website last December.
