Officials at C-F-B Trenton are preparing for a repatriation ceremony tomorrow for the latest Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan.
The body of Petty Officer Second Class Craig Blake is expected to arrive aboard a military plane at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon, but that hasn’t been confirmed. An official announcement is expected later today.
Blake was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated southwest of Kandahar City on Monday. His death brings the number of Canadian troops who have been killed in the Afghan mission to 143 since it began in 2002.
