The former Doc’s Palace at 237 Station Street…across from the VIA Station…could be your’s for a mere 449-thousand dollars. The property has been the centre of controversy after the Moniz brothers from Quebec planned to re-open the old strip club….but, had their plans snuffed out when city council introduced an interim bylaw limiting the number of strip clubs in Belleville to two. There’s been no word from the Moniz brothers on their intentions especially from Carlos Moniz who has often said he would seek the Mayor’s seat.
