Big things are happening at the Nestle Plant in Trenton. Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi was at the Sidney Street facility, this morning, armed with a 1.5 million dollar investment from the Eastern Ontario Development Fund. Plant manager Mike Kuntz says the money will be used to expand its lines, improve its refrigeration processes and add some robotics.
Nestle Trenton produces soup mixes and other food products…and, currently employs 310 workers.
