OPP are investigating a couple of drive-by shootings over the weekend in downtown Picton…fortunately the weapon was only a pellet gun. and, neither victim was seriously hurt. The first incident occurred early Saturday morning when a woman standing on Main Street was struck by the occupant of a passing car…and, a short time later a man on the Loyalist Parkway was hit. The vehicle was located an air pistol was seized. Six Prince Edward residents ranging in age from 18 to 28 have been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and obstructing justice. The 18-year old driver is also charged with blood-alcohol over the legal limit. No names have been released as the investigation is ongoing.
