The Reeve of Tweed wants some answers from the O-P-P about the handling of breakins and sexual assaults in her community.
Joanne Albert told CBC Radio News she wants to meet with police to discuss what has happened. Eighty two new break and enter charges were laid against Colonel Russell Williams, and one of the sexual assault victims in Tweed expressed her displeasure with the way police treated her after she was attacked. Staff Sergeant Peter Valiquette at the Central Hastings O-P-P detachment told our newsroom this morning he hopes to respond to the victim’s comments some time today.
