Napanee O-P-P have seized three-thousand cigarettes which appeared to be targeted for illegal sales. A car was pulled over on Tuesday afternoon on Centre Street and an officer found two-thousand loose smokes. A 41- year-old man from Centre Hastings was charged.
An officer stopped a car on Highway 4-0-1 near Shannonville Road that evening and discovered one-thousand unstamped cigarettes. There is no information on whether any charges were laid in that incident.
