A lone suspect is in custody after a robbery and a high risk takedown north of Brighton. Northumberland OPP say a 4-0-1 gas bar near Cobourg was held up by a man demanding cash, just after 2:30 this morning, and the suspect fled northbound on County Road 28. A short while later the suspect vehicle was spotted heading eastbound on the 401 and then north on County Road 30 in Brighton. The suspect is in custody at the Brighton detachment and the investigation is continuing.
