The federal government is improving rail grade crossings in Cramahe Township and Cobourg.
M-P Rick Norlock announced 588-thousand dollars in funding for the two projects today.
The Bellamy Road crossing, just east of Colborne, will get new gates, flashing light signals, bell and gate crossing predictors and road improvements. Road markings and signage will be installed at Brook Road North in Cobourg.
