Belleville Police are not releasing many details but confirm human remains were discovered this afternoon by staff at the Belleville Sewage Treament Plant. Staff at the facility on Belleville’s east bayshore alerted investigators at 2:45pm. Sources tell our newsroom the body of an unborn baby was recovered at the facility and an autopsy is scheduled for next week at the Centre of Forensic Science in Toronto. The investigation is continuing.
