Signs in Canada’s other official language may soon start appearing in Brighton..
The municipality will apply to the Community Futures Development Corporation for funding to post French language signage to create a promotional logo incorporating Brighton and Quebec.
The signage aims to build on already large numbers of French Canadians who visit the community. Brighton will also consider hiring a bilingual intern to translate existing promotional material into French after the signs are established. .
