Belleville residents are making a clean sweep this spring if action at the city public works yard is any indication.
Director of Operational Services, Brad Wilson, says 500-people dumped yard waste at the public works yard on opening day, Monday, and it’s been busy ever since. Wilson says a contractor takes it away for composting. He says it’s all composted and re-used, none of it is burned.
