64 year old Gordon Fox announced today(yesterday) that he’ll run for Mayor in this Fall’s municipal elections.
Gordon Fox was born and raised in the County, and served on County Council from 2000 to 2005. He comes from a well known political family…..his Father John Fox was Warden of the County, and his brother Gary, was a reeve, and a member of the provincial legislature. Current County Councillor Lori Slik, is his neice.
Gordon Fox says tough decisions on spending are coming, and he looks forward to fostering positive relationships with council and staff to keep taxes reasonable.
