A partnership to improve the quality of life for children, youth and families in remote First Nation communities was the subject of a workshop in Belleville today.
Executive Director of the Hastings Childrens Aid Society Len Kennedy says the linking of communities in northwestern Ontario and volunteer organizations based in southern Ontario allows communities in need to obtain money and supports. Two representatives of the North-South Partnership for Chidlren addressed the workshop.
