Another step has been taken toward Trent Hills leasing the Crowe Bridge Conservation Area, northeast of Campbellford.
The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority board supported in principle the proposal by the municipality at its meeting in Marmora yesterday. The deal, which could see the park open this summer, will now be reviewed by the authority’s lawyer.
The conservation area was closed several years ago because the authority couldn’t afford to keep it open.
