Just days removed from a weekend-long lockdown… there’s more trouble at the Kingston Penitentiary.
Assistant Warden Brian Joyce says three inmates assaulted another around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
The victim receIved stab wounds to his arm and torso… along with a broken wrist… and was taken to Kingston General Hospital before returning back to the prison.
Prison officials say the incident was isolated to one cell block… which has since been locked down.
All visits are proceeding as scheduled.
