Brighton has cancelled the tender to upgrade the Bay Street Marina on Lake Ontario for now. Following a Brigjton Waterfront Masterplan Committee meeting last night, Councillor Brian Ostrander said the cost to rehabiltate the marina is in excess of half-a-million dollars and isn’t on the radar for about ten years. Ostrander says the first priority on the waterfront list is the Ontario Street boat launch…but, no redevelopment is being done this year because there’s no funding available yet.
