There will be an election for public school trustee in Brighton, Cramahe Township and Murray Ward this October.
Mike Filip of the Castleton area has filed his nomination papers, joining incumbent Cyndi Dickson, who is seeking reelection to the Kawartha-Pine Ridge School Board.
Filip is a parent representative from Castleton Public School.
