Just before noon yesterday, a Prince Edward OPP officer observed two men run towards each other on Main Street in Picton. One of the men subsequently assaulted the other before the officer intervened. The victim did not sustain any injuries. 19 year old John Halliwell of Picton was arrested and charged with assault. He is scheduled to appear in Picton court on May 12th.
