Tyendinaga Township Council is expected to set the 2010 municipal budget in mid-April.
C-A-O Steve Mercer says the preliminary document is just under three-million dollars, with residential and business property owners paying about two thirds of that. The tax increase would be around two-and-a-half per cent. One of the larger projects this year would be the construction of a new utility building at the recreation facility.
Tyendinaga Council will meet the week of April 18th to finalize the budget figures.
