Brand new security cameras and software upgrades….costing 500-thousand dollars…are coming to public schools in Hastings and Prince Edward schools. School board trustees approved the contract with A-P-I Alarms at last night’s board meeting. Superintendant June Rogers says the new system keeps safety a priority for staff and students. Trustee Thelma Goodfellow, who’s been on the board for more than 25-years, thinks the upgrades will help keep dangerous people out and prevent bullying and internal problems as well.
