He has been called Fast Freddy and a number of other things, but Councillor Fred Kuypers wants to be a municipal politician in Quinte West for another four years.
Kuypers, who lives in Carrying Place, has put his name in as a councillor candidate in Trenton ward for this year’s election.
He is the only council candidate, except for Claude Rolland du Lude, who has run for mayor unsuccessfully four times before, and is trying for the top job again.
