The City of Quinte West is looking at brightening up the entrance to the Trent River. Quinte West’s Economic Development Committee is sending out a request for proposals for a lighted sign along the Veterans Skyway Bridge. The sign’s letters would be made up of energy efficient, and bright, LED lighting. Mayor of Quinte West John Williams says the entrance to the Trent Severn Waterway is a spot well worth sprucing up. It’s hoped the LED sign could be installed before summer. The cost would be around 50 thousand dollars.
