The Ministry of Natural Resources is investigating allegations a swan was shot in Bayside.
Ministry spokesman Jamie Prentice says the information was received on the Ministry’s TIPS line last Friday, but the actual incident hasn’t been confirmed.
The call originally went to the O-P-P, but the caller was referred to the M-N-R. Prentice says it isn’t yet clear whether the alleged incident happened on the Bay of Quinte or further inland.
