It’s not fishing season yet….but, Belleville’s Mayor is busy trying to lure new industry to the city. Mayor Neil Ellis will miss today’s city council meeting for a trip to Toronto. He says six months ago there was no one looking at the city but in the last 2-months the Economic Development department has been busier than ever. Ellis says there is still some land available for potential investors. It’s the third council meeting that Mayor Ellis has missed for economic development reasons, including a previous trip to Toronto and a whirlwind trip to Dubai.
