A Belleville woman who lives across from the murder scene in the city’s East Hill says she heard some shouting about guns just hours before the latest homicide.
Police won’t speculate on a motive for the attack, but Cassiopee Leduc heard a heated exchange outside. She said she heard about six people shouting at each other outside after one o’clock in the morning, and there was a reference to someone having more guns than the other person, and not being afraid. She also heard someone implying it didn’t seem to matter, since it was Belleville.
